The practice draws patients from a 75-mile radius and provides consulting services and diagnostic testing for other physicians in the area.
Our goal is to develop a new means of communication in medicine as well as teaching the primary care physicians. This practice has a learning center that provides teaching to primary care physicians and support stafff in the field of cardiovascular medicine. We do this by regular viewing of satelite trainings and broadcasts and conducting interactive training in our state of the art training area.
In the next few years we hope that we will develop a leadership in Cardiovascular Medicine in Northeast Georgia and provide service to physicians to improve their ability to provide effective evidence based medicine to their patients in a new electronic environment. We hope that we will be able to connect our practice with referring physicians through Internet technology. We this will help us to deliver cost effective medicine and provide us with feedback data to implement a continuous quality improvement system.
